What I remember of Eleanor as a person is that on the (unfortunately fairly rare) occasions when I saw her, she'd always have fantastic stories about trips she had made, or was planning, and would ask questions about any travels that I had had myself. Also, every year, she'd send her lovely Christmas cards with little cut-out-and-make angels, which I always enjoyed displaying, often on our Christmas tree.
